Linux Installation 7 The next question asks if you want the popup window for event notification to beep: Would you like to have audio notification enabled when the local application starts? (default is yes) 8 The next question asks for the HTTP port that you would like 3DM to use. If you do not know what port to use, select the default: Please enter the port number you would like to use for web monitoring (default is 1080) 9 Change the directory and then eject the CD-ROM disk when finished: cd /home eject cdrom Starting 3DM 3DM should start automatically after installation and upon bootup.
