Partition and format new drive 1 Run fdisk by selecting Run... from the Start menu and typing fdisk in the Run window. 2 Restart the system again and format each device: select the device with the right mouse button in the My Computer window, then select Format... from the popup menu. 3 After formatting, reboot the system again to avoid running an incompatible DOS mode and to avoid low performance. 62 www.3ware.com

Partition and format new drive

Run
fdisk
by selecting
Run...
from the
Start
menu and typing
fdisk
in the
Run
window
.

Restart the system again and format each device: select the
device with the right mouse button in the
