Only use the batteries supplied with the handsets! Note: Using other battery types or non-rechargeable batteries/primary cells can be hazardous and result in malfunctions and/or damage to the equipment. For obvious reasons the manufacturer cannot assume any liability in such cases. 2. Batteries become warm when charging; this is normal and not dangerous. 3. Do not use non-system charging units as they could damage the batteries. 4. Make sure the polarity is correct when inserting the batteries. 5. Do not dip the batteries in water or throw into the fire. 6. Do not take the batteries apart. This can cause the caustic electrolyte to leak. 56
