Selecting Bass Max EQ mode (Maker's setting) 10 typical equalizer settings are preset at the factory for a variety of musical source material. Setting item: BASS MAX EQ Setting contents: FLAT / ROCK / POPS / JAZZ / ELECTRIC / HIPHOP / EASY / COUNTRY / CLASSIC / NEWS / CUSTOM * * Contents that are adjusted in parametric EQ. Adjusting and Storing/Recalling the Parametric EQ The frequency bands of the graphic equalizer are fixed. This makes it very difficult to correct for undesired peaks and dips at specific frequencies. The parametric equalizer's center frequency can be tuned to these specific frequencies. Then, the bandwidth (Q) and level are fine-tuned, independently, to make the necessary corrections. The parametric equalizer function is an advanced tool for serious audiophiles. Setting item: P-EQ 1 Touch [ ] of P-EQ. The screen changes to the P-EQ screen to be adjusted. 2 Adjust the desired band. P-EQ adjustment screen example Displays the band currently selected Displays the center frequency of the band currently selected Displays the band level currently selected Displays the bandwidth (Q) of the band currently selected Variable range of center frequency of the band currently selected Active point: displays the center frequency and level position of the band currently selected Active bar: displayed the variable range of the band level currently selected with an orange bar Adjusting the Frequency Touch [ ] or [ ], and adjust the selected band frequency. Center Frequency HIGH : 10kHz, 12.5kHz, 15kHz MID-HIGH : 500Hz, 700Hz, 1kHz, 2kHz, 4kHz, 6kHz MID-LOW : 100Hz, 150Hz, 200Hz LOW : 40Hz, 60Hz, 90Hz Adjusting the Level Touch [ ] or [ ], and adjust the selected band level. Level: -12 ~ +12 Selecting the Band The band (BAND1 through BAND4) changes each time the [BAND] is touched. The variable range of the active bar and the center frequency moves according to the band. BAND1 BAND2 BAND3 BAND4 : LOW : MID-LOW : MID-HIGH : HIGH • Touching outside the range for a selected band will move the active bar to a band where the touched position can be adjusted. Setting the Bandwidth The bandwidth changes each time [Q] is touched. HIGH : 1.0 (Bandwidth setting for HIGH is not available.) MID-HIGH : 1.0, 2.0, 3.0 MID-LOW : 1.0, 1.5, 2.0 LOW : 1.0, 2.0, 3.0 Adjusting the Level/Frequency Directly Move to a desired position by touching the active point and change the setting contents. Or, move the active point to the desired position by touching where you wish to move it. • If you set the parametric EQ, BASS MAX EQ setting content is set to "CUSTOM." 3 Touch [RETURN] to return to the previous screen.
