VPN Access VPN (virtual private network) provides secure access over the Internet to private networks, such as the network at your company or school. Use Network settings to configure and turn on VPN. See "Network" on page 113. VPN can also be automatically set up by a configuration profile. See "Installing Configuration Profiles" on page 14. When VPN is set up by a configuration profile, iPod touch might turned on VPN automatically whenever it's needed. Contact your system administrator for more information. Battery iPod touch has an internal rechargeable battery. The battery isn't user accessible and should only be replaced by an authorized service provider. The battery icon in the upper-right corner shows the battery level or charging status. Charging Charged Charge the battery and sync iPod touch: Connect iPod touch to your computer using the included USB cable.
