III. INSTALLATION 19. VGA Memory Socket (SO-DIMM) At the time of purchase, you may select either 4MB SGRAM VGA memory onboard, 2MB, or 0MB model. If you wish to upgrade the 4MB model, add a 2x2MB SGRAM chip SO-DIMM for 8MB total. If you wish to upgrade the 2MB, add either a 2x1MB SGRAM chip SO-DIMM or 4x1MB for either 4MB or 6MB total. 19. VGA Memory Socket (SO-DIMM)
At the time of purchase, you may select either 4MB SGRAM VGA memory
onboard, 2MB, or 0MB model. If you wish to upgrade the 4MB model, add a
2x2MB SGRAM chip SO-DIMM for 8MB total. If you wish to upgrade the
2MB, add either a 2x1MB SGRAM chip SO-DIMM or 4x1MB for either 4MB
or 6MB total. If you wish to upgrade the 0MB model, only a 4x2MB SDRAM
SO-DIMM can be used for 8MB SDRAM total.
P2E-N Onboard VGA Memory
Onboard:
• 2MB or 4MB SGRAM
• No Memory Onboard
SO-DIMM:
• 2MB or 4MB SGRAM
SO-DIMM:
• 8MB SDRAM
20. CD-ROM Connector (50-1 pin CDROM)
This is a proprietary CD-ROM connector which requires a converter in order to
attach to a slim CD-ROM. Only a slim CD-ROM will fit in the NLX system
housing.
