Displaying a Linked Map in a Different Window or Frame To display the linked map in a different window or frame, use the TARGET parameter. If necessary, open the second window or frame so that the original document can continue to be displayed. For example: United States Map This displays the usa.mwf map in a Web browser window called MAPAREA. The TARGET parameter can also specify the name of a frame. Displaying a Specific Area of the Map In an Autodesk MapGuide Viewer, you can adjust the view of the map window so that it displays only the area you want. To display a specific area of a map 1 Right-click over the map to display the popup menu, and then use the Zoom commands or Pan to display the area of the map you want. 2 Right-click again, and then choose Copy ➤ As URL to copy the map's URL to the clipboard. 3 In your HTML document, choose Edit ➤ Paste to paste the URL into the HREF parameter of the anchor tag. Displaying a Linked Map in a Different Window or Frame
To display the linked map in a different window or frame, use the
TARGET
parameter. If necessary, open the second window or frame so that the orig-
inal document can continue to be displayed. For example:
TARGET="MAPAREA">United States Map</A>
This displays the
usa.mwf
map in a Web browser window called
MAPAREA
.
The
TARGET
