Positioning Page Elements with Page Coordinate System Units Page element extents specified through the API are expressed in Page Coordinate System (PCS) units. The origin (0,0) of this system is located at the upper-left corner of the paper. Its exact location depends on the current left and top margins. Unlike the coordinate system that is used on a map, the Y values increase in the downward direction and the X values increase to the right.
