UNLOADING WARNING: Always unload the firearm whenever you do not intend to shoot. WARNING: Be certain the pistol is pointed in a SAFE direction. Keep your finger away from the trigger. Remove the magazine from the pistol. Grasp the rear of the slide with your thumb and index finger while holding the pistol by the grip in your other hand and fully retract the slide to remove the chambered cartridge. When you are sure that the chamber is empty and the cartridge has been ejected, release the slide. Then unload the magazine. WARNING: Always visually inspect the firing chamber to ensure that it is empty. The chamber is empty when no cartridge is visible when looking from the ejection port into the back of the barrel with the slide to the rear. 22

WARNING:
