NOTE: The firing pin is retained by the extractor. Once the extractor is removed the firing pin is free to fly out under spring tension from the firing pin spring. Placing a hand behind the slide to catch the firing pin when the extractor is removed is recommended. ASSEMBLY Place the firing pin spring on the front of the firing pin and slide it into the back of the slide with the groove in the firing pin aligned with the extractor cut. Place the extractor in position and firmly press on the side of the extractor while pressing the firing pin into place. The extractor will hold the firing pin in place. NOTE: The recoil spring guide can be used to press the firing pin into place. Press in on the extractor allowing the extractor pin holes to align and press the extractor pin into position. 46

NOTE:

ASSEMBLY
Place the firing pin spring on the front of the firing pin and slide it into
the back of the slide with the groove in the firing pin aligned with the
extractor cut.
Place the extractor in position and firmly press on the side of the
extractor while pressing the firing pin into place. The extractor will hold
the firing pin in place.
NOTE:
