NOTE: The trigger spring retains the trigger pin. Driving the trigger pin out before releasing the tension on the trigger spring could damage the spring. NOTE: When trigger is removed the disconnect pin will fallout. 4. Remove the slide catch spring by holding the slide catch down to the top of the chassis and pressing the top leg of the slide catch spring down just behind the slide catch until the spring clears the bottom of the catch then pull the top leg of the spring away from the frame and unhook it from the slide catch. Then slide the loop of the spring over the hammer pin and unhook the bottom leg from the chassis. 5. Rotate the slide catch until the slide catch retaining lug is aligned with the assembly notch in the chassis then pull out on the slide catch and remove it from the chassis. 40
