The extractor has a small amount of fore and aft movement by design. The slide is now assembled. MAGAZINE DISASSEMBLY / REASSEMBLY NOTE: The magazine does not need to be disassembled for normal maintenance. NOTE: Read this section completely before proceeding NOTE: The magazine must be unloaded before disassembly. DISASSEMBLY Depress the magazine floor plate retaining plate and slide the floor plate forward and off of the magazine. The retaining plate, magazine spring, and follower can now be removed. 47
