EEPROM Customizing Codes This function allows you to customize the EEPROM according to language, function settings, and firmware switch settings. n Operating Procedure (1) FAX2750/MFC4350/MFC4650/MFC6650MC/L621/LJ6106MFC/LJ6206MFC: To make the equipment enter the maintenance mode, press the Function, *, 2, 8, 6, and 4 keys in this order. Within 2 seconds FAX-8250P/MFC-9050/MFC-9550: To make the equipment enter the maintenance mode, press the Menu, *, 2, 8, 6, and 4 keys in this order. Within 2 seconds The equipment beeps for approx. one second and displays " LCD. " on the (2) Press the 7 and 4 keys in this order in the initial stage of the maintenance mode. The current customizing code (e.g., 1101 in the case of MFC4350 U.S.A. versions) appears. (3) Enter the desired customizing code (e.g., 0202 in the case of MFC4650 Canadian versions). If you press the Stop key or no keys are pressed for one minute in the above procedure, the equipment stops the procedure and returns to the initial stage of the maintenance mode.
