To draw horizontal lines (after vertical lines have been drawn), hold down the CODE key and press either the single line or double line key (depending on which type of line you want), then press the REPEAT key. The line will be drawn across the page and stop at the last vertical line. Use the RETURN key to move to the correct position for the next line. Again select the type of horizontal line (CODE+ line key), and press the REPEAT key to draw it. Repeat for each horizontal line required. When all lines have been drawn, hold down the CODE key and press the IND CLR key to move the carrier to the left margin. By entering just the longest word or number in each column, the column width can be automatically set. The EM-611 will automatically insert 3 spaces between each column.
