If you are searching for multiple occurrences of a word, press the STEP key instead of the START key. To find each successive occurrence of the word press the STEP key, and the display will show the next occurrence. When you have found the word you want, press the START key to enter edit mode and make changes. You must press the SRCH key again if you want to continue looking for occurrences of the word. If at any time the word cannot be found, the message will appear on the display. Press the CORRECTION key to return to the word search display Press the CORRECTION key again if you want to erase the word sought. Type in a new word to search for, or press the CODE and END keys to return to edit mode. Bold and underlined words will be treated as ordinary words. Corrections To make corrections once a word has been found, use the FORWARD and BACKSPACE keys to locate the character to be corrected, and the CORRECTION key to delete the character. Then type in the correct character. Replace You can also replace words that you are searching for. After typing in the word to be searched for, hold down the CODE key and press the RPLC key. The word to be replaced will be followed by the replace symbol on the display. The replace symbol will be followed by a word if Replace has been previously used. To delete this word, simply press the CORRECTION key. If you make a mistake, or simply do not want to search for and replace a word now, hold down the CODE key and press the END key to return to the edit mode without doing a Search and Replace. Type in the new word, or words. The maximum number of characters you can replace is 31. To locate, and replace, all occurrences of the searched for word press the START key. The last word sought and replaced, if found, will appear at the right end of the data zone in the display. You are now back in the edit mode.
