■ Do not allow any object to enter the interior of the typewriter, especially metal objects such as paper clips or staples. ■ Vents are provided on the bottom and the back wall of the case for ventilation. Do not obstruct these vents or otherwise inhibit ventilation. ■ Do not place the typewriter where it will be exposed to direct sunlight, high temperature heat sources, or intense vibrations. ■ Place the typewriter horizontally ■ If connected to a computer, make sure the printer input cable is shielded and properly grounded. ■ Always cover the typewriter when not using it.
