KNOWING YOUR SEWING MACHINE Reverse Sewing Button To sew in reverse, push the Reverse Sewing Button in as far as possible and hold in that position while pressing lightly on the foot pedal. To sew forward, release the Reverse Sewing Button. The machine will then sew forward. Reverse sewing is used for back tacking and reinforcing seams. Model PS-2500, PS-2400, PS-2300 STAR140E, STAR130E, STAR120E When the foot controller is depressed, push this button and hold it. Then, the machine will sew at ordinary speed in reverse. When the button is released, the machine will sew forward. When the foot controller is not depressed, push this button and hold it, the machine will sew slowly in reverse sewing.
