Setup 3.1 Setting up the Printer Note  Before you plug the Power Cord into the Power Port, make sure the printer's Power Switch is in the OFF position.  Some features are not available depending on the model. For more information, see the product specification. 1. Place the printer on a flat, secure surface. 2. Plug the Power Cord into the Power Port at the rear of the printer. Then, plug the other end into the AC power outlet (electrical socket). 3. Connect the printer to the computer with the provided USB cable. 4. Push the "-" side of the Power Switch to turn on the printer. 9

3. Setup
3.1 Setting up the Printer
Note
Before you plug the Power Cord into the Power Port, make sure the printer's Power Switch
is in the OFF position.

1.
Place the printer on a flat, secure surface.
2.
Plug the Power Cord into the Power Port at the rear of the printer. Then, plug the other end
into the AC power outlet (electrical socket).
3.
Connect the printer to the computer with the provided USB cable.
4.
Push the “-” side of the Power Switch to turn on the printer.
