Problem Poor Print Quality. Labels are skipped when printing. Possible Cause  The ribbon/media is loaded incorrectly.  Dust or adhesive has accumulated on the Print Head.  The print density is set incorrectly.  The Print Head mechanism is damaged.  The ribbon/media are incompatible. Solution  Reload the media/ribbon.  Clean the Print Head.  Clean the Platen Roller.  Adjust the print density and print speed.  Run the printer self-test and check the Print Head test pattern for missing dots.  Install the correct ribbon/media.  The label size is not specified correctly.  The sensor sensitivity is not set correctly.  The media sensor is dirty.  Check if the label size is set up correctly.  Calibrate the sensor using the Auto Gap or Manual Gap options.  Clean the Gap/Black Mark Sensor using a blower brush.  Calibrate the sensor sensitivity again.  Set the correct label size and gap size.  If using the BarTender software, set the Vertical Offset in the driver. The printing position of small labels is incorrect.  The media sensor sensitivity is not set correctly.  The label size is incorrect.  The vertical offset setting in the driver is incorrect.
