The walking fool prevents at h materials from crumpling, slipping or sticking between presser clot and material due to even feeding of upper and lower material t. NOTE: Use foot only for straight sewing al id zigzag stl4 hing. Do not use other patterns. 1. Remove the power supply plug from the outlo t. 2. Raise the needle and the press it foot. 3. Loosen the presser foot screw to remove the p, esser foot holder. (See fig. A ) 4. Attach the forked section of the connecting It ver to the needle clamp, install the walking foot to the presser 'ar. (See fig 8 ) 5. Lower the presser foot lever aid then tightth the accessory presser bar holder fixing screw. If the screw is loose, the needle may strike the presser foot and cause injury. • Be sure to turn the balance wheel towanI the front of the machine fo check that the needle does not strike the presser toot. If the needle s rikes the presser foot, injury may re: ult. • Be careful not to touch the reedle durinc this time, otherwise injury may result.
