OSD Menu Sub Menu 2020 Gamut Mapping HLG System Gamma HDR/SDR View Calibration Luminance Setting Options (Bold: factory default) Gamut Mapping Clipping When [Picture Mode] or [Color Gamut] [ITU-R BT.2020] [Gamut Mapping]: Mapping is performed on colors outside the native color gamut by Canon's unique method. [Clipping]: Colors outside the native color gamut are clipped by a general 37 method. Automatic Manual • When Manual is selected [Gamma/EOTF] When [Hybrid LogGamma] 1.000 to 1.500 (1.200) When [Hybrid LogGamma RGB] γ1.2 - 1000 cd/m2 γ1.2 - 2000 cd/m2 When [Gamma/EOTF] [Hybrid Log-Gamma] or [Hybrid Log-Gamma RGB] Sets the system gamma or peak luminance. [Automatic]: When [Hybrid Log-Gamma] is selected, it adjusts the system gamma automatically to match the contrast value and HDR range. It cannot be set when [Hybrid Log-Gamma RGB] is selected. [Manual]: Operations when [Hybrid Log-Gamma] or [Hybrid Log-Gamma RGB] is selected are as follows: [Hybrid Log-Gamma]: Adjusts the system gamma. (Increments of 0.005) [Hybrid Log-Gamma RGB]: Sets the peak luminance. The maximum value for each setting becomes the upper limit value of [HDR Range]. On, Off The HDR (High Dynamic Range) and SDR (Standard Dynamic Range) displays can be compared. [On]: The right screen is displayed at SDR luminance. [Off]: Does not compare the HDR and SDR display. • Cannot be set when [Picture Mode] is selected in the right screen. • When the [Contrast] setting for the left screen is specified as [1000] or less, the luminance of the left and right screens is the same. When [Picture Mode] [User 1-7] Executes calibration based on set target values. • Calibration cannot be executed when using DC power. • When [Luminance] is set to high brightness, it may be calibrated beyond the brightness adjustment range and set lower than the target value, depending on the [Color Temperature] setting. In that case, set the [Luminance] again. • Calibration cannot be executed in [Picture Mode] for the right screen.
