MF: Focusing Manually 5 Focus manually. While looking at the magnified image, turn the lens's focusing ring to focus. After achieving focus, press the button to return to the normal view. 6 Take the picture. Check the exposure, then press the shutter button completely to take the picture (p.256). If [z4: Crop/aspect ratio] is set to [1.3x (crop)] or [1.6x (crop)], [X1.3] or [X1.6] will be displayed when starting the magnified view. When [1.3x (crop)] or [1.6x (crop)] is set, the magnifying frame will be displayed larger than usual. In magnified view, the exposure is locked. (Shutter speed and aperture will be displayed in red.) 276
