Chapter 8 8.4 Parts Replacement Procedure 8.4.1 Fixing Unit 8.4.1.1 Preparation for Removing Fixing Assembly 0016-5046 1) Remove the front cover. 2) Remove the right cover. 3) Remove the left cover. 4) Remove the rear cover. 5) Remove the control panel. 6) Remove the printer cover. 7) Remove the upper cover. 8.4.1.2 Removing Fixing Assembly 0016-5047 1) Unhook the 2 claws [1], and remove the fixing guide [2]. F-8-8 5) Remove the 3 screws [1], and remove the fixing assembly [2]. F-8-5 2) Disconnect the 5 connectors [1] on the left side, and remove the cable [2] from the cable guide. F-8-6 3) Disconnect the connector [1], and remove the cable (white) [2] from the cable guide. F-8-9 8.4.2 Fixing Film Unit 8.4.2.1 Preparation for Removing Fixing Film Unit 0016-5048 1) Remove the front cover. 2) Remove the right cover. 3) Remove the left cover. 4) Remove the rear cover. 5) Remove the control panel. 6) Remove the printer cover. 7) Remove the upper cover. 8) Remove the fixing assembly. 8.4.2.2 Removing Fixing Film Unit 0016-5050 1) Free the cable [1] from the cable guide [2]. F-8-7 4) Unhook the 3 claws [1], and remove the delivery sensor [2]. 8-6 F-8-10 2) Remove the 2 screws [1], and detach the fixing cover [2] by opening it in the direction of the arrow.
