Density Control Each time you feed a document into the MultiPASS 1000, the default density setting of 4 is displayed. You can change this setting if you normally send documents that require a lighter or darker setting. The new setting remains in effect until you change it. The density control box looks like this: There are seven settings, from 1 to 7. The smaller the number, the darker the image. The normal setting is 4; 1 is the darkest and 7 is the lightest. 1.
