Perform a shading correction Perform a shading correction In most cases, an automatic gradation adjustment is sufficient to deliver the required color quality. However, in the following situations it is necessary to perform also the shading correction: • When the printed output shows uneven color densities in the color panes. • After the installation of the print system. • When your service representative replaces system parts. Perform a printer calibration. Calibrate the printer on page 173 (See ) 2. Connect the Eye-One spectrophotometer to the USB port in the control panel. 3. Touch [System] -> [Color adjustment] -> [Printer calibration details]. 4. Select [Shading correction]. 5. Touch [Start printer calibration]. 6.
