Using the Setup Menu IImage Adjustment J Color Mode This sub-menu lets you select from among five different color settings to optimize projection in accordance with image contents and projection conditions. Input Source Specific Menu Items Input Source RGB Component S-VIDEO VIDEO No Signal Available Items (Parentheses indicate defaults.) (Presentation), Standard, Graphics, Theater, Blackboard Presentation, Standard, Graphics, (Theater), Blackboard None Setting Explanations Presentation: Select this setting for standard presentations in a well-lit area. Standard: Select this setting when you want to highlight the colors during your presentation. Graphics: Select this setting when you want photographs and graphics to appear natural. Theater: Select this setting to bring out the dark portions of your images. Blackboard: Select this setting for easy viewing when projecting onto a blackboard. Setting Storage A different setting is stored for each input source. IImage Adjustment J Color Balance This sub-menu lets you adjust the color balance of the projected image. There are two methods you can use to adjust color balance, selecting a preset color temperature value or adjusting the red, green, or blue components of each color. z Note that you can adjust the color balance either by selecting a color temperature value or by adjusting color components. You cannot do both. z Color balance settings cannot be configured when there is no input signal. z A different setting can be configured and is stored for each input source. 32
