Step 2 Example: Router# configure terminal call-home Enters call home configuration mode. Step 3 Example: Router(config)# call-home profile name Step 4 Example: Router(config-call-home)# profile profile1 destination transport-method email Step 5 Example: Router(cfg-call-home-profile)# destination transport-method email destination address email email-address Step 6 Example: Router(cfg-call-home-profile)# destination address email [email protected] destination preferred-msg-format {long-text | short-text | xml} Enters call home destination profile configuration mode for the specified destination profile name. If the specified destination profile does not exist, it is created. (Optional) Configures the message transport method for email. This is the default. (Required) Configures the destination e-mail address to which Call Home messages are sent. (Optional) Configures a preferred message format. The default is XML. Step 7 Example: Router(cfg-call-home-profile)# destination preferred-msg-format xml destination message-size bytes Step 8 Example: Router(cfg-call-home-profile)# destination message-size 3145728 active Example: Router(cfg-call-home-profile)# active (Optional) Configures a maximum destination message size (from 50 to 3145728 bytes) for the destination profile. The default is 3145728 bytes. (Optional) Enables the destination profile. By default, a user-defined profile is enabled when it is created.
