Configuring Synchronous Ethernet Chapter 10 Synchronous Ethernet Support Step 5 Command interface gigabitethernet slot/port Step 6 Example: Router(config)# int gig 0/0/0 synchronous mode Purpose Specifies the Gigabit Ethernet interface to be configured: slot/port-Specifies the location of the interface. Sets the mode to synchronous mode. Step 7 Example: Router(config-if)# synchronous mode exit Exits the global configuration mode.
