Contains at least 2 to 64 alphanumeric characters. Defaults Enabled. Command Modes Configuration Usage Guidelines If you enter more or fewer arguments, an error occurs. Examples acs/admin(config)# ip domain-name cisco.com acs/admin(config)# Related Commands Command ip name-server Description Sets the DNS servers for use during a DNS query. ip name-server To set the Domain Name Server (DNS) servers for use during a DNS query, use the ip name-server command in Configuration mode. You can configure one to three DNS servers. To disable this function, use the no form of this command. Note Using the no form of this command removes all the name servers from the configuration. Using the no form of this command and one of the IP names removes only that IP name. ip name-server ip-address [ip-address*] Syntax Description ip-address ip-address* Address of a name server. (Optional) IP addresses of additional name servers. Note You can configure a maximum of three name servers. Defaults No default behavior or values.
