Security Storm Control 5 STEP 1 Click Security > Storm Control. The Storm Control window appears. Security > Storm Control The Storm Control window contains the following fields: • Interface - Indicates the interface from which storm control is enabled. - Port - Indicates the port from which storm control is enabled. • Broadcast Control - Select the checkbox to apply Broadcast Control on the selected interface. • Mode - Specifies, and allows configuration of the Broadcast mode currently enabled on the device. The possible field values are: - Multicast & Broadcast - Counts Broadcast and Multicast traffic together. - Broadcast Only - Counts only Broadcast traffic. • Rate Threshold - The maximum rate (Kbps) at which Broadcast or Broadcast and Multicast packets are forwarded.
