Notebook Features Component Description ✎ This table describes default settings. For information about changing the functions of the power button and using Standby and Hibernation, refer on the Documentation Library CD to the Software Guide, "Power" chapter. 3 fn key Executes frequently used system functions when pressed in combination with a function key or the esc key. 4 Microsoft logo key Displays the Windows Start menu. 5 Keyboard lights 6 Function keys 7 MiniPCI compartment Indicate when certain keyboard settings have been turned on. Refer in this chapter to the "Lights" section. Execute indicated system functions when pressed in combination with the fn key. Refer to "Using Hotkeys and Shortcut Keys," in Chapter 2 of this guide. Holds an optional wireless LAN (WLAN) or ISDN device. 8 Applications key Ä The FCC does not allow unauthorized MiniPCI devices to be used in this notebook. Installing an unsupported MiniPCI device can prevent your notebook from operating properly and may result in a warning message. To resume proper notebook operation, remove the unauthorized device.
