SERVICE AND ADJUSTMENT HOW TO REPLACE THE FUSE If the fuse is blown, the engine will not start The location of the fuse is next to the battery Remove the fuse and replace with a 15 amp automotive fuse (Figure 39) _ 15 amp AutomoUveFuse Figure39 HOW TO SET THE CUTTING HEIGHT The cutting height is set at the factory from tl/2 to 4 inches. To lower or raise the cutting height, make an adjustment to the lifter rod as follows. 1_ Move the lift lever to the lowest position 2. Disconnect the lifter rod from the lifter arm (Figure 40). 3. Turn the lifter rod clockwise to lower or counterclockwise to raise the cutting height 4. Attach the lifter rod to the lifter arm. 5. Move the lift leverto the highest position.
