Performance Settings Channel By changing radio parameters in the performance section, you can customize the radio network to fit your needs. Performance functions are designed for more advanced users who are familiar with 802.11 wireless networks and radio configuration. Wireless Band: Select IEEE 802.11a or IEEE 802.11g from this pull-down menu. Frequency: The frequency is 2.437GHz for Channel 6, and 5.26GHz for Channel 52. Channel: Indicates the channel setting for the DWL-8200AP. By default the channel for IEEE 802.11g is set to 6, and the default channel for IEEE 802.11a is set to 52. The Channel can be changed to fit the channel setting for an existing wireless network or to customize the wireless network. The channel of an 802.11a network may not be set manually in certain regions (e.g. Europe) in order to comply with DFS (Dynamic Frequency Selection). D-Link DWL-8200AP User Manual 33
