Procedure 1 Open the latch and disconnect the display cable from the system board. 2 Remove the display cable from the routing guides on the fan. 3 Disconnect the fan cable from the system board. 4 Remove the two screws (M2.5x6) that secure the fan to the palm rest and keyboard assembly. 5 Lift the fan off the palm rest and keyboard assembly. 28 Removing the fan

Prerequisites
Remove the

Remove the display cable from the routing guides on the fan.

Disconnect the fan cable from the system board.
4
Remove the two screws (M2.5x6) that secure the fan to the palm rest and keyboard assembly.
