3. Remove the keyboard screws K1 and K2. 4. Lift up the keyboard from the palmrest. Pull forward at the back of the keyboard to release the edge of the keyboard from the palmrest assembly. 5. Disconnect the keyboard cable from the ZIF connector. Use a small flat-blade screwdriver or scribe to release the ZIF connector securing the keyboard cable. CAUTION: Lift away the cable only after the ZIF connector is opened (see "ZIF Connectors" found earlier in this chapter).
