Remove the palmrest assembly. 2. Remove the hard-disk drive heat sink. 3. Remove the touch-pad assembly. 4. Remove left speaker screw S1. 5. Remove the left speaker cover and speaker. To replace the speaker, unsolder the wires. 6. Repeat steps 4 and 5 for the right speaker. The right speaker screw is S2. The touch-pad cable, microphone cable, microphone, speaker cables, and speaker housing are joined in one wiring harness that plugs into the main board connector JP1. Speaker Removal
To remove the speaker, follow these steps:
1.
Remove the palmrest assembly.
2.
Remove the hard-disk drive heat sink.
3.
Remove the touch-pad assembly.
4.
Remove left speaker screw S1.
5.
Remove the left speaker cover and speaker.
To replace the speaker, unsolder the wires.
