Base Assembly The base assembly consists of the following components: • IR lens • Processor board • LVDS board (13.3-inch LCD only) • USB board • Main board • Audio bezel • Audio board • PC Card cage • Latch assembly • BIOS door • Rubber feet The following subsections provide removal and replacement procedures for most of the components of the base assembly. Procedures for the BIOS door, rubber feet, and 13.3-inch bumpers are not shown because they are obvious.
