NOTICE: To avoid electrostatic discharge, ground yourself by using a wrist grounding strap or by periodically touching an unpainted metal surface (such as a connector on the back of the computer). 1. Follow the instructions in Before You Begin. 2. Remove the palm rest. See Replacing the Palm Rest. 1 USB board 2 M2.5x3-mm screw 3. Remove the M2.5x3-mm screw that secure the USB board to the base of the computer. 4. Lift the USB board up and out from the base of the computer. 5. To replace the USB board, align the holes on the USB board to the protrusions on the base of the computer. 6. Replace the USB M2.5x3-mm screw to secure the USB board to the base of the computer. 7. Replace the palm rest. See Replacing the Palm Rest. 8. Slide the battery into the battery bay, until it clicks in place and slide the battery-lock latch towards the lock position. Replacing the USB Board

Follow the instructions in
Before You Begin
.
2.
Remove the palm rest. See
Replacing the Palm Rest
.
3.
Remove the M2.5x3-mm screw that secure the USB board to the base of the computer.
4.
Lift the USB board up and out from the base of the computer.
5.
To replace the USB board, align the holes on the USB board to the protrusions on the base of the computer.
6.
Replace the USB M2.5x3-mm screw to secure the USB board to the base of the computer.
7.
Replace the palm rest. See

.
8.
Slide the battery into the battery bay, until it clicks in place and slide the battery-lock latch towards the lock position.
