Steps 1. Place the thermal fan from the system board. 2. Align the screw holes on the thermal module to the screw holes on the system board. 3. Replace the single screw (M2x4) securing a fan. 4. Connect the thermal-fan cable to the connector on the system board. 5. Connect the cables to the connector and place the cables to the cable routing guides. 6. Replace three screws (M2x3) securing WLAN and WWAN brackets on the system board. Next steps 1. Install the base cover. 2. Follow the procedure in After working inside your computer. About this task NOTE: The heat-sink may become hot during normal operation. Allow sufficient time for the heat-sink to cool before you touch it. NOTE: For maximum cooling of the processor, do not touch the heat transfer areas on the heat-sink. The oils in your skin can reduce the heat transfer capability of the thermal grease.
