Follow the procedures in Before Working Inside Your Computer. 2. Remove the battery from the computer. 3. Remove the hinge covers from the computer. 4. Remove the access panel from the computer. 5. Remove the screw that secures the power connector to the computer. 6. Remove the power connector cover from the computer hinge. 7. Disconnect the power connector cable from the system board. 8. Remove the power connector from the computer. Replacing the Display Assembly To replace the display assembly, perform the above steps in reverse order. Back to Contents Page

Removing the Power Connector
1.
Follow the procedures in
Before Working Inside Your Computer
.
2.
Remove the
battery
from the computer.
3.
Remove the
hinge covers
from the computer.
4.
Remove the
access panel
from the computer.
5.
Remove the screw that secures the power connector to the computer.
6.
Remove the power connector cover from the computer hinge.
7.
Disconnect the power connector cable from the system board.
8.
Remove the power connector from the computer.
Replacing the Display Assembly
To replace the display assembly, perform the above steps in reverse order.
