Disconnect the heatsink fan assembly cable from the connector on the system board [1]. b. Loosen the captive screws (4) that secure the heatsink assembly to the system board [2]. Open the
front panel door

4.
To remove the heatsink assembly:
a.
Disconnect the heatsink fan assembly cable from the connector on the system board [1].
b.
Loosen the captive screws (4) that secure the heatsink assembly to the system board [2].
NOTE:
Remove the screw in the sequential order (1,2,3,4) as printed on the system board.
c.
Lift the heatsink assembly away from the computer [3].
