When installing NI-MLX-10Gx8-M or NI-MLX-10Gx8-D modules, you must upgrade the software on all interface modules and management modules to the appropriate software release. Power supply requirements for NI-MLX-10Gx8-M and NI-MLX-10Gx8-D modules
When installing NI-MLX-10Gx8-M or NI-MLX-10Gx8-D modules, consider the following power supply
requirements for each type of router:
4-slot routers
You can install up to three NI-MLX-10Gx8-M or NI-MLX-10Gx8-D modules using a single 1200W
power supply. You can achieve a 1+1 power redundancy by installing four additional power
supplies.
