Log level configuration (svc_log_config) This service script enables you to review or change the logging levels for a predefined set of components. Changes to logging levels are persisted even when the appliance reboots, but only last for 72 hours. After this time, the logging levels reset automatically back to the default levels. You can choose to review or change logging levels for the following components: • Control Path (CP)-Journal messages logged by objects and interfaces that enable management of the appliance. • CP.Netty-Networking-related journal messages that are logged by interfaces that enable management of the appliance. • Data Path (DP)-Journal messages that are logged by the backend data engine components • Platform-Journal messages that are logged by the platform or base storage container (BSC) components • Service-Journal messages that are logged by the serviceability components or service container • Fireman-Journal messages that are logged by the backend services that are responsible for handling communication between the internal operating system components. • Postgres-Journal messages that are logged by the Post-Gres services Usage Function Mode Usage Requires service user password?
