Steps 1. Remove the six screws (M2x3, Torx 5) that secure the base cover to the palm-rest and keyboard assembly. NOTE: A Torx #5 (T5) screwdriver is necessary to remove the six screws (M2x3, Torx 5). 2. Place your thumbs and fingers into the recess at the top edge of the base cover. 3.
