Memory Module DIMM A 1. Follow the instructions in Preparing to Work Inside the Computer. 2. Remove the hinge cover (see Removing the Hinge Cover). 3. Remove the keyboard (see Removing the Keyboard). 4. Loosen the two captive screws securing the memory module cover, then remove the cover and set it aside. 1 memory module cover 2 captive screws (2) NOTICE: To prevent damage to the memory module connector, do not use tools of any kind to spread the metal clips that secure the module.
