NOTICE: To avoid electrostatic discharge, ground yourself by using a wrist grounding strap or by periodically touching an unpainted metal surface (such as the back panel) on the computer. 1. Follow the instructions in Preparing to Work Inside the Computer. 2. Follow the instructions in Removing the Speakers. NOTICE: Exercise care when handling or replacing the speakers. 3. Place each of the new speakers in the appropriate speaker slot. NOTE: For proper placement, align the slots on the speakers with the screw-hole guide posts on the base of the computer. 4. Replace the three M2.5 x 5-mm screws to secure the speakers to the base of the computer. 5. Connect the speaker cable to the system board. 6. Replace the palmrest (see Replacing the Palm Rest). 7. Replace the microprocessor thermal-cooling assembly (see Replacing the Microprocessor Thermal- Cooling Assembly).
