ENGLISH Connecting Other Sources Connecting a TV/DBS tuner • For best picture quality choose the component video connection to your TV or DBS tuner. S-Video and composite video inputs are also provided if your TV or DBS tuner does not have component video outputs. • To connect the digital audio output from the TV or DBS tuner, you can choose from either the coaxial or optical connections. If you choose to use the coaxial connection, it needs to be assigned. For more information about Digital Input Assignment ( page 42). IN) terminals • These terminals are for inputting multi-channel audio signals from an external decoder, or a component with a different type of multi-channel decoder, such as a DVD Audio player, a multichannel Super Audio CD player, or another future multi-channel sound format decoder. • The video signal connection is the same as that for a DVD player. • For instructions on playback using the external input (EXT.
