Basic Operation FUNCTION CURSOR FG STATUS TU BAND CURSORFG RDS SEARCH CHANNEL TUNING TUNER 4 Press the CHANNEL button. • Automatically begin the TP search operation. RT (Radio Text) • "RT" appears on the display when radio text data is received. 1 Set the input source to "TUNER". If no TP station is found with above operation, all the reception bands are searched. The station name is displayed on the display after searching stops. 5 To continue searching, repeat step 3. If no other TP station is found when all the frequencies are searched, "NO PROGRAMME" is displayed. (Main unit) (Remote control unit in the AMP mode) 2 Press the TU (TUNER) button to select the TUNER mode. (Remote control unit) 3 Press the RDS SEARCH button until "RT ON" appears on the display. The main unit's display switches as follows each time the RDS SEARCH button is pressed. Display FM RDS SEARCH PTY SEARCH RT ON TP SEARCH While receiving an RDS broadcast station, the text data broadcast from the station is displayed. To turn the display off, press the CURSOR F or G button. If no text data is being broadcast, "NO TEXT DATA" is displayed. 70

button.
Automatically begin the TP search operation.
If no TP station is found with above operation, all the
reception bands are searched.
The station name is displayed on the display after
