Viewing Lamp Usage and Other Information Use the Info menu to view information about the display settings of your computer and the number of hours the lamp has been used. Press the Menu button and highlight the Info menu. You see the lamp usage hours and various input signal settings on the right. The life span of the lamp is about 2000 hours if the Brightness Control setting in the Setting menu is set to High (default), and 3000 hours if the Brightness Control setting is set to Low. Make sure you have a spare lamp handy if the usage hours on this menu are close to the life span of your lamp. note The information displayed depends on the input signal currently selected. Solving Problems with the Image or Sound No image appears on the screen. ■ Check that the Power light is green, not flashing, and the lens cap is off. ■ The projector may be in Standby or Sleep Mode. If the Power light is orange, press the PPower button to turn the projector on. ■ If the power was switched off and then on again, the projector may be cooling down. Wait until the Power light stops flashing and remains orange; then press the PPower button again. ■ Press the A/V Mute button to make sure the picture has not been turned off temporarily. ■ The attached computer may be in sleep mode or displaying a black screen saver. Viewing Lamp Usage and Other Information
Use the Info menu to view information about the display settings of
your computer and the number of hours the lamp has been used.
Press the
Menu
button and highlight the
Info
menu.
You see the lamp usage hours and various input signal settings on the
right.
The life span of the lamp is about 2000 hours if the
Brightness
Control
setting in the Setting menu is set to
High
(default), and 3000
hours if the
Brightness Control
setting is set to
Low
. Make sure you
have a spare lamp handy if the usage hours on this menu are close to
the life span of your lamp.
Solving Problems with the Image
or Sound
No image appears on the screen.
Check that the
Power
light is green, not flashing, and the lens
cap is off.
The projector may be in Standby or Sleep Mode. If the
Power
light is orange, press the
P
Power
button to turn the projector
on.
If the power was switched off and then on again, the projector
may be cooling down. Wait until the
Power
light stops flashing
and remains orange; then press the
P
Power
button again.
Press the
A/V Mute
button to make sure the picture has not been
turned off temporarily.
The attached computer may be in sleep mode or displaying a
black screen saver. Try pressing a key on the computer.
