Description of Change: This firmware version supersedes and includes all previous firmware versions. Firmware Date: February 06, 2003 Reason: 1. Corrects Epson Status Monitor 3 ink level information reporting. 2. Corrects Vertical Banding issues while printing at 2880 x 1440 with UltraChrome inks ONLY. NOTE: Upgrading the firmware does not automatically enable the 2880 X 1440 vertical banding fix. To confirm if this fix applies to your printer after upgrading the firmware test the printer at 720 and 1440 dpi modes. If no vertical banding is visible at these resolutions then call Epson Professional Graphics Support for additional information on how to enable the vertical banding fix for 2880 X 1440 dpi. 3. :
